WOMEN'S BALANCE BY NEAL'S YARD

Reviewing Women's Balance Body Cream from Neal's Yard.

The Happy Sage purchased this product.

I adore a good skin moisturiser or body oil, there is nothing better than having your skin feel smooth and supple. I have tried so many different products over the years that I have lost count, and there have been some horrors in them as well. The products that claim to be a 'massage oil/body oil' (there is no such thing - the two products need to do completely different things), the ones that honk to high heaven even though they swear they are natural and the ones that sit on the skin and are so greasy that you have to shower the stuff off before you can get dressed.

I already have an ongoing love affair with the Neal's Yard Remedies to Roll Women's Balance. The smell is absolutely divine and extremely relaxing. I also use the Women's Balance aromatherapy blend in my diffuser, so it was no surprise that when I saw they had a Womens' Balance Body Cream, I just had to have it!

NEAL'S YARD

I've used Neal's Yard for years, love most of their products and I know that their ingredients will be no problem for my extremely sensitive skin. I always try and list the ingredients in a product for those that are nerdy about them like me though!

The actual product comes in a large and chunky traditional style Neal's Yard blue glass jar with a black lid. It's a good size and has a wide opening so the body cream is really easy to get out with your hand.

It's quite a thick cream so you don't end up dropping it everywhere getting it from the jar to your body. Despite being a nice thick consistency, the cream spreads easily and sinks in quickly, leaving just beautifully smelling and moisturised skin.

Review of Neal's Yard Women's Balance Body Cream

It's not going to come as a shock to you that I love this product. The shea butter, macadamia oil, sea buckthorn and beeswax are all ingredients that I would put in a body cream that needed to be really effective for dry skin. The product does contain sodium hyaluronate which is really good for plumping up the skin, however it is the last ingredient on the list, and as ingredients need to be listed in order of concentration, I don't think the amount in the cream will have a tremendous effect, nevertheless it's good to have some in there.

Neal's Yard claim that it is clinically proven to moisturise the skin for up to 24 hours, and my mature skin would agree with this.

The actual scent is true to the Women's Balance range, and you can smell the geranium, patchouli, frankincense, rose, orange and bergamot essential oils coming through. Heaven!

This body cream is equally as good applied after a bath or shower and left on as an overnight treatment as it is after a shower in the morning. There is no stickiness on bedclothes or clothes and it really is very effective as a moisturiser.

For the best results from your moisturiser, always apply after a bath or shower when the skin is dry but still damp - this makes a huge difference

Highly recommended and would make a great gift.
